On Wednesday, 25th of July 2007, we were instructed to do the exercises on Antigone and we were asked to submit the exercises on Friday to the tutor. The exercises were really difficult. We did the exercises in the class and did discussion on the exercises. I found the exercises were hard but I managed to finish the exercises as I had finish reading the play Antigone. Actually, I was not clear what the answers that I should response to the questions. I was afraid that my answers will be incorrect or out of the point. But at last, I managed to answer the questions in the exercises with confident. The exercises were hard and difficult, but I learned that I understand the play, “Antigone” more after attempting the exercises. Although the exercises were difficult, I enjoyed doing it as it stimulated my thinking skills and indirectly, I was given the opportunity to analyse the play.

I certainly agree that the Antigone exercise was tough and mind boggling. However, the effort and time spent in cracking our heads to find the answers was worth it. I find that we have a better understanding of the Antigone text and was able to get a clear picture of the plot, role of characters and identify the important themes.Morever, the exercise has indeed opened our minds and enhanced our thinking skills in grasping the meaning and understanding the literary elements present in the Antigone text.
I really agree with Amelia as the exercise were really REALLY difficult...Our class actually got the questions early,, but as usual we did last minute job... You know what, We start copying each other as our work were not done yet..and we suppose to hand it in on friday before 4pm..OH,I have to agree with Amelia that even myself and my friends were nervous that our answers are wrong and get scolded by the lecturer..This really shows that Antigone is really a difficult drama..However, this exercise do increase my knowledge on the play especially the part where i need to find textual evidences..i hope that our class really learned a lesson not to follow our friends work again...
